Awareness Through Movement Lessons

These lessons are taught in a group. Typically, you will be lying on the floor on a mat and I will verbally guide you through a variety of sequences of movements.  These movement combinations are both interesting and manageable for people of all physical ability.

You will be asked to gently turn your attention inside whilst you are moving. This is the key element of these lessons, as directed awareness is the tool we use for transformation. I give suggestions of things you can observe in yourself whilst moving and this way you develop a greater understanding, range, sophistication and simplicity in the way you use your body.

You can expect: to feel more relaxed (because when we quieten down our minds and listen to our bodies we have no choice but to relax), to experience easier movement, stronger and more co-ordinated movement, to notice an posture improvement, and to get more pleasure from moving in general.
